MEOT는 순우리말 ‘멋’을 발음 그대로 옮긴 이름입니다. ‘멋’은 단순히 아름답거나 세련된 상태만 의미하지 않습니다. 태도일 수도 있고, 취향일 수도 있으며, 살아가는 방식 자체일 수도 있습니다. 그리고 그 기준은 사람마다, 또 상황마다 모두 다릅니다. MEOT는 다양한 요구에 대한 보편적인 정답을 제시하기보다, 사람과 상황에 따라 달라지는 ‘멋’을 발견하고 건축합니다.
MEOT is a name derived from the Korean word '멋', written phonetically in English. 'Meot' does not simply mean something beautiful or stylish. It can be an attitude, a matter of taste, or even a way of living itself. And its meaning changes depending on the person and the situation. Rather than presenting a universal answer to diverse needs, MEOT seeks to discover and express the unique 'Meot' that emerges from different people, contexts, and ways of life through architecture.
